Source Africa “The African Textile, Apparel& Footwear Trade Event” used to be one of the important African textile, clothing& footwear trade fairs. In 2014, the 2nd edition took place from 18th to 20th of June, at the Cape Town International Convention Center.

Event enabled the African and International buyers to examine a wide array of products and services represented by 18 countries from Africa continent.

As one of the leading African markets, Egypt has participated in Source Africa with a collective pavilion aggregated 15 top exporters of textile, apparel& home textiles sectors.

Wherefore, the Textile Export Council of Egypt (TEC) participated with an information booth to promote the Egyptian industry of fibers, yarns & fabrics and how that Egypt can complete that African textile supply chain to enhance African products competitiveness.
